Frozen Games

A Box Office Bash

Everybody has heard of Frozen—and most people have probably watched it—so it was really only a matter of time until Frozen games appeared. The 2013 film was produced and released by Walt Disney and has become one of the most successful movies ever made! It earned more than $1.2 billion at the box office, meaning that it overtook Toy Story 3 to become the highest-grossing animated film of all time! It also had an all-star cast, featuring:

  • Kristen Bell as Anna. This American actress has done it all, starting out on stage in The Adventures of Tom Sawyer and going on to appear in a number of popular movies, such as Forgetting Sarah Marshall.
  • Idina Menzel as Elsa. Menzel is well-known for her singing and her Broadway work, particularly as Elphaba in Wicked!
  • Josh Gad as Olaf. While Olaf is maybe his most popular role, Josh Gad is known for performing in the Book of Mormon on Broadway.
  • Jonathan Groff as Kristoff. Jonathan Groff is also known for his stage work, particularly his iconic representation of King George III in Hamilton.

Frozen even won two Oscars, including Best Original Song for Let It Go. It’s no wonder, then, that so many people fell in love with the movie and wanted to continue to immerse themselves in the world Disney created. Playing our selection of Frozen games online allows them to do exactly that.

Do You Want to (Re)Build a Snowman?

Frozen games were launched to make the most of the film’s success and give another way for people to enjoy their favorite film. Each game allows you to play as the film’s main characters, including Elsa, Olaf and Kristoff. Listed below are just some of the titles, which you can play here on GamePix:

  • Frozen—Olaf’s Freeze Fall is a game where your good friend Olaf has misplaced a bunch of his body parts (silly Olaf!). This platform game finds you navigating him around the kingdom to find his missing head, arms, buttons and nose. However, you must watch out for falling snowballs, which could knock Olaf back down or even kill him if you’re not careful! It’s not all doom and danger, though—help can be found in the form of your four-legged pal Sven, who will give you a little boost whenever you reach him!
  • Frozen Rush is the most popular Frozen game. The player gets a chance to explore the kingdom of Arendelle while trying to save it! Both The Northern Lights and the kingdom’s enchanted crystals are dimming. You race to collect the missing troll crystals and restore the Northern Lights to their brightest and best. Not only do you get to explore the kingdom, but you also get the chance to play as a few different characters: Anna, Kristoff, Elsa and Olaf. Just be sure to dodge all the obstacles, making use of each character’s special abilities!
  • Frozen Double Trouble is a game in which you play as both Anna and Kristoff. Your goal? Try and make your way up the mountain to find Elsa—but beware the wolves that you meet on the way! Kristoff and Anna have slightly different abilities and therefore can solve problems (the problem often being wolves) in different ways. Anna and Kristoff’s differences also mean that they seek different things: Anna wants to collect crocuses on her journey while Kristoff finds it useful to collect rope! Help them celebrate their differences and find Elsa at the same time!
  • Frozen—Block Party is a game where your goal is to help Kristoff and Sven to harvest ice to sell to the kingdom of Arendelle. In the first stage you must harvest ice by recreating the block shapes that appear at the top of the screen in the ice grid below. However, you are limited by imperfections in the ice, so watch out for those! If you’re very careful and strategic, you’ll be able to get as much ice as you can! The second stage of the game involves Tetris-like stacking of the ice blocks into Sven’s cart, although the shapes do break into separate blocks, filling the cart from the base up. Be careful not to stack too high though—if you lose any ice blocks, you’ll get no money for them!

These are just a few of the many titles we have here on GamePix, but there are a lot more to choose from! Whether you’d like to see more of Olaf, spend more time hanging out with Elsa or if you just really, really like Sven the reindeer, you’ll be able to find a game within our roster to suit you.
